Left and Right Turn Rules
When you turn left or right, the new direction depends on what direction you're currently facing:

Degree-Based Turning
Some questions specify turns in degrees instead of "left" or "right."

Reverse Direction Problems
Some questions tell you the final direction and ask you to determine the starting direction.
Q: Ram walks 16km, then turns right (7km), then left (14km), then left (9km). He realizes he is going South. In which direction did he start?
Method: Work backwards from the known final direction.
- Final direction: South
- Before last move: turned left to face South → was facing East before the last left turn (left from East = ... wait. If turning left gives South, then before turning left he was facing East? No — turning left from East gives North. Let me think again.
