2.1 Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo (if provided via Google sign-in). This information is used for authentication, personalisation, and account management.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you use our platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns. This helps us maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the platform experience.
We also assign you a unique account identifier at registration, which is used to associate your data across our services.
2.3 Learning & Progress Data
To deliver our educational services, we record your lesson completion, quiz scores, test results, and review activity. Some of this data is stored on our servers to enable cross-device access and features like leaderboards; other preference and session data (such as your daily review goals and study streaks) is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers.
2.4 Payment & Subscription Data
When you purchase a subscription or course, we record your subscription plan, status, and transaction references. Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay — we never receive, store, or have access to your card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Authenticate and manage your account — Sign you in, maintain your session, and protect your account.
- Deliver educational services — Serve lessons, generate AI-powered quizzes and feedback, track progress, and schedule spaced repetition reviews.
- Power AI features — Lesson content and quiz responses are sent to Google Gemini AI to generate personalised questions and feedback. This data is processed in-flight and is not retained by Google for model training.
- Process payments — Facilitate subscriptions and course purchases through Razorpay.
- Send transactional emails — Account confirmations, subscription updates, and expiry notices via Resend.
- Improve the platform — Analyse usage patterns to fix bugs and enhance features.
- Enable leaderboards — Display your name and score publicly only if you opt in via your profile settings.
- Maintain security — Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and ensure platform integrity.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

- Firebase Authentication handles credential storage using industry-standard practices.
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant) — we never see or store payment instrument details.
- All API endpoints require valid authentication tokens for access.
8. Your Rights
Under the DPDPA and our commitment to transparency, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — Update or correct inaccurate personal data.

- Withdraw consent — Stop using our services at any time. Deleting your account removes your data from our active systems.
- Opt out of leaderboards — Disable leaderboard visibility in your profile settings at any time.
- Opt out of emails — Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email.
- Nominate a representative — Under DPDPA, you may nominate another person to exercise your data rights in case of death or incapacity.
9. Children’s Privacy
AgriDots is designed for competitive exam aspirants, typically aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18 without parental consent. 10. Data Transfers
Your data is stored on Firebase servers (Google Cloud Platform), which may maintain data centres outside India. By using AgriDots, you consent to this transfer. Google complies with applicable data protection regulations and provides adequate safeguards for international transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make significant changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of AgriDots after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
