Welcome to AgriDots. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AgriDots website at https://agridots.com, including all content, features, and services offered through the platform (collectively, the “Service”). AgriDots is operated from Rajasthan, India.

By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use AgriDots.
• By using the Service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Account & Authentication

• Account creation: You may create an account using your email address (passwordless magic link), Google sign-in, or Facebook sign-in.
• Session persistence: When you sign in, we store a secure authentication cookie on your device for up to 5 days so that you remain logged in without re-entering credentials.
• One account per person: Each individual may maintain only one AgriDots account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials, promotions, or referral programmes is prohibited.
• Account security: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Account termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.

3. Terms Acceptance

• By signing in to AgriDots, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
• Your acceptance is recorded at the time of sign-in. Continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
• You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account. Contact [email protected] to request account deletion.

4. The Service

AgriDots is an educational technology platform for competitive exam preparation (banking, agriculture, and government exams in India). The Service includes:

• Lesson content — Courses, study materials, and educational content.
• AI-powered features — Quiz generation, personalised feedback, gap-fill exercises, and content translation powered by Google Gemini AI. Your lesson content and quiz responses are sent to Google’s AI services for processing.
• Spaced repetition (Recall) — FSRS-algorithm-based memory system that schedules reviews at optimal intervals.
• Gamification — XP points, levels, daily streaks, achievement badges, and leaderboards.
• Pomodoro timer — Focus session tracking.
• Audio lessons — Text-to-speech lesson audio in Hindi and English.
• Mock tests — Practice tests and previous year paper simulations.

We continuously improve and update the Service. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion.

5. Data Collection & Privacy

We collect and process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• What we collect: Email, name, profile photo, learning progress, quiz scores, subscription status, and usage analytics.
• What we do NOT collect: Payment card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay.
• Local data: Certain preferences and session data are stored in your browser and never transmitted to our servers.
• AI processing: Lesson content and quiz responses are processed by Google Gemini AI to generate questions and feedback. This data is not permanently stored by Google for model training.
• Analytics: We use analytics tools to understand platform usage and improve the experience.
• Emails: We send transactional emails for account events such as registration, subscription updates, and expiry notices.

6. Memberships & Subscriptions

6.1 Plans

AgriDots offers the following plans:

• Free — Access to limited lesson content.
• Pro Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly — Full access to all features with recurring billing.
• Pro Lifetime — One-time payment for permanent full access.
• Enterprise — Multi-seat plans for institutions.

6.2 Billing

• Subscription fees are recurring payments (except Lifetime and single-course purchases).
• Billing occurs monthly, quarterly, or annually as selected at the time of purchase.
• Recurring fees are charged on the same day of the month as the initial subscription date. If the original date does not exist in a given month (e.g., 31st), billing occurs on the last day of that month.
• All payments are processed by Razorpay in Indian Rupees (INR).
• Prices are subject to change. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change affects their renewal.

6.3 Cancellations & Refunds

• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, you retain access until the end of the current billing period already paid for.
• AgriDots provides digital educational services and digital content. Access to paid features, courses, tests, interviews, classroom content, and other premium materials is provisioned immediately or shortly after successful payment.
• By purchasing a paid plan, single-course product, test series, interview credit, or any other digital access product on AgriDots, you acknowledge that the service is a digital service delivered electronically, and that access may begin without any physical shipment.
• All completed payments are final and non-refundable once the paid digital service or digital content has been activated or made available on your account, except where a refund is required under applicable law.
• No refund will be provided for:
  • change of mind after purchase;
  • partial use, non-use, or lack of usage during an active billing period;
  • forgetting to cancel an auto-renewing subscription before the next billing date;
  • dissatisfaction based on personal preference where the purchased digital service has already been delivered or enabled.
• Refund exceptions: We may review and resolve cases involving duplicate charges, mistaken multiple debits for the same order, or successful payment where paid access was not activated on your account within a reasonable time.
• Payment disputes: If a payment is debited from your account but Pro features are not activated, email [email protected] with your registered account details and bank or Razorpay payment proof. We will investigate and resolve such issues as soon as reasonably possible.

6.4 Lapsed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, your account will be downgraded with a 7-day grace period to update your payment method. If no successful payment is made within 7 days, the subscription will be fully cancelled. Renewal after lapse is subject to current pricing.

6.5 Free Trials

Free trials, when offered, may grant temporary Pro access. At the end of a trial, your account reverts to the Free plan unless you subscribe. Trial terms will be communicated at the time of activation.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

7.1 AgriDots Content

• All site design, logos, course content, video content, audio content, and educational materials are copyright © 2021–present AgriDots.
• Distribution, reproduction, or transmission of AgriDots content by any electronic or physical means without written permission is strictly prohibited under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

7.2 User-Generated Content

• If you submit content (e.g., quiz responses, feedback), you grant AgriDots a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for improving the Service.
• You retain ownership of any original content you create.

7.3 AI-Generated Content

• Quiz questions, feedback, and translations generated by AI are provided for educational purposes only.
• AI-generated content may contain errors. AgriDots does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of AI-generated material.

7.4 Copyright Infringement

AgriDots respects intellectual property rights and follows the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. To report copyright infringement, contact us at [email protected] with:

• Description of the copyrighted work.
• Location (URL) of the infringing material on our site.
• Your contact information and a statement of good faith.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service or its content.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful material.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit AgriDots content without written permission.
• Abuse the AI features by submitting harmful, offensive, or illegal content for processing.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

9. Leaderboards & Public Display

• Quiz scores and test results may be displayed on public leaderboards.
• Your display name and profile photo are shown on leaderboards only if you opt in via your profile settings.
• If you do not opt in, your ranking is displayed as “Anonymous.”
• You may change your leaderboard visibility at any time in your profile settings.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of educational content.
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

AgriDots is an exam preparation aid. We do not guarantee exam success, employment, or any specific outcome from using the Service. All content is for general educational purposes only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

• AgriDots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
• AgriDots shall not be liable for any loss of data, profit, or business interruption.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to AgriDots in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AgriDots, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), Google Gemini AI, Razorpay, and Resend. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. AgriDots is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

14. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes that affect their paid subscriptions.

15. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes:

• The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be updated.
• We may notify you via email or an in-app notice.
• Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
• If you disagree with updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rajasthan, India.
• Before pursuing legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected].

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
