Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Direct Recruitment

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any one of:
    • Biology
    • Agriculture
    • Animal Husbandry

For Departmental Candidates

  • Must have completed 5 years of continuous service in Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Department (as on first day of recruitment year), and
  • Intermediate with Biology or Agriculture (or equivalent recognized qualification)

Mandatory Training Clause

Before final appointment, selected candidates must complete:

  • 6 months training at departmental training center, and
  • 6 months training at departmental veterinary hospitals under supervision of a veterinary officer.
